Harpers have been playing at special occasions since at least the eleventh century in the royal courts and great houses of the British Isles.

Jean and Neil live in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and have been playing as a harp and guitar duo at weddings, special birthdays, wedding anniversaries and receptions of all kinds for many years.

Jean who was born in Manchester is a performer and teacher on the traditional gut strung harp. As a child she received a classical, musical education, studying the piano and later the organ.

Neil was born and educated in Edinburgh.. Music has always played a large role in his life, performing and arranging music, initially from the rich Scottish tradition and then from the Welsh and Irish traditions.
